Warkah lets you create digital invitation websites and share them with your guests. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and your rights under Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).
What we collect
- Your account: name, email address and phone number. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email and profile picture from Google.
- Your invitations: the details you enter, such as names, event date, venue, address, messages and music links.
- Your guest list: guest names and phone numbers you add so you can send invitations by WhatsApp.
- Guest replies: the name, attendance, number of people and wishes a guest submits on an invitation page.
- Payments: the amount, status and reference number of your payment. Card and bank details are handled by ToyyibPay; we never see or store them.
Why we use it
- To run your account and show your invitation to the people you share it with.
- To process payments and send receipts through ToyyibPay.
- To reply to your support requests and tell you about important changes to the service.
We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
We use these service providers to run Warkah. They process data only on our behalf:
- Supabase: database and login (servers in Singapore).
- Vercel: website hosting.
- ToyyibPay: payment processing.
- Google: sign-in with Google, if you choose it.
- YouTube: plays background music on invitations that use it. YouTube may set its own cookies when the music plays.
Who can see your invitation
A published invitation is public: anyone with its link can open it. Do not put information on it that you would not want shared. Your guest list and guest replies are private to your account.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and invitations until you ask us to delete them. Payment records are kept as long as required for tax and accounting purposes.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, or a guest’s reply, at any time by emailing anasfarhan00@gmail.com. Guests who want their reply removed can contact the invitation owner or us.
